Immigration Consultants Woburn International are based in Lower Hutt, Wellington. Since 1991, they have been helping individuals and companies across the globe to establish themselves in New Zealand.

The Challenge

Woburn were referred to Cloud Edge from Synthesis Marketing. They do a lot of international calling and wanted to bring the cost down. “We’d been through a few different providers and we weren’t happy with the handsets on the last changeover or the system we’d been using, which didn’t allow us to do what we wanted to do.”

The Solution

As an office move was looming, we timed this with getting a new fibre connection into their new premise. This allowed us to utilise our cloud hosted PBX in order to provide dramatically reduced monthly line charges. This meant we could provide fixed billing, while including brand new handsets at a cost effective and expected billing rate.

“The phones are easy to use and we’ve even been able to incorporate one of our consultants [outside of the region] into our system, instead of having to pay for a separate phone line. They’re now an extension of us and we can transfer calls through to them. Their phone never really worked properly (being rural) and the phone line was terrible before. Now it works great.
